Join us for The Bookish Buzz, an informal gathering of book lovers for conversation centered on an author, book, or theme. Hosted by Chapter2 Books at Black Rooster Bistro; we bring together authors or community partners for fun conversations inspired by books while enjoying the ambience and excellent hand-crafted cocktails and curated spirits of Black Rooster Bistro. 

Order your cocktail at the bar before the presentation starts, and plan to arrive early or stay late to enjoy a sublime meal in Black Rooster Bistro’s main dining room.

In August, we are pleased to welcome Ted Blank, the CEO of Ted Blank Luxury Travel & Adventure, located just down the street from Chapter2 Books. 

Ted's love of mysteries began in junior high school, when he first discovered Agatha Christie and became captivated by her ingenious plots and unforgettable characters. Just as importantly, her stories transported him to grand hotels, elegant trains, country houses, and faraway destinations - helping spark a lifelong curiosity about the world and a passion for travel.

Ted is a native of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and an alumnus of St. Olaf College with an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. After a 15-year career in healthcare sales and marketing, his enthusiasm for travel compelled him to pursue the opportunity to share his passion with others by creating unforgettable adventures across the world.
